The Music Journey on Your Wedding Day
Your day kicks off with a curated pre-ceremony playlist to set the tone and create a beautiful atmosphere from the very first moment. From there, the music becomes the emotional backbone of the day—enhancing every moment, building the energy, and eventually launching into an unforgettable dance floor experience.
Music Selection (aka The Fun Part)
We’ll start with a real convo about the music that moves you—your must-plays, your hard no’s, and the songs that define your love story. Then, I’ll take all of that and help you create what I like to call a music mood board. (Yes, it’s a playlist—but doesn’t “mood board” just sound better?)
From there, I’ll build out around six hours of music designed to reflect your style, your vibe, and the energy you want throughout your day.
MCing is a big part of the flow, too—so we’ll go over intros, announcements, and all the key moments to make sure everything sounds smooth and feels personal.

FAQs (aka Stuff People Always Ask Me)

Q: Do you have speakers for a beach wedding?
Yep. I’ve got multiple setups, including three fully battery-powered systems—perfect for beach ceremonies, mountaintops, or anywhere off the grid.

Q: What kind of microphones do you use?
For your ceremony: tiny, discreet wireless lapel mics so your vows are crystal clear. For everything else: clean-sounding handhelds for toasts, intros, and shoutouts.

Q: Do you charge for setup/breakdown time?
Nope. Setup and teardown are on me—it’s part of the gig.

Q: Can my guests make song requests?
Your guest experience is important, and considering the music they love should be part of your planning process. I’ve got a modern request system your guests will love (check it out [HERE]). Will I play every request? No way. If it fits the vibe we’ve planned—absolutely. Expect maybe 30% of requests to make the cut.

Q: How much setup time do you need?
I give myself two hours to get everything dialed in and ready to go.

Q: Are you insured?
Yes—I carry a $2 million liability policy, and I’ll send proof to your venue if they ask.

Q: Do you bring backup gear?
Always. I roll deep with two MacBook Pros, two iPads, backup mics, and extra speakers—just in case. Peace of mind is part of the package.

Q: Do you offer extras?
Oh yeah. I’ve got mirror balls, uplights, lasers, tube lights, fog machines, bubble machines… if you’ve seen it on TikTok or at a festival, I probably have it or can get it.

Q: Where do I service?
Almost everywhere. I'm based in St. Augustine, and most of my events are there or in Jacksonville. Will I travel to Cocoa Beach or Orlando? Sure. Send me a message and let's see what we can work out. Matt@FutureStereo.com
